Electroral

Electroral is indicated for the management, prevention, and treatment of dehydration in children and adults. It is used to replace electrolytes and fluids in patients who have lost fluids, particularly those associated with diarrhea of ​​various causes.

Electroral can be administered to children and adults in cases of mild or moderate diarrhea, vomiting, and in general in all cases where there is a loss of electrolytes due to dehydration.

Acute diarrhea, whether bacterial, viral, or of another etiology, causes depletion of fluids and electrolytes in the body. Infants and young children with diarrhea are especially susceptible to this depletion because fluid and electrolyte changes occur more rapidly than in older children and adults, due to the large proportion of their body weight being water.
