Dibase® is used for the prevention of vitamin D deficiency in adults only in cases where therapeutic adherence is not achieved with daily administration of low doses of cholecalciferol. Treatment of vitamin D deficiency in adults.

The drug is intended for the treatment of vitamin D deficiency, as well as for the prevention of rickets, osteomalacia, and osteoporosis. It is generally accepted that such prevention should be carried out:

• In newborns (especially premature babies);
• In early childhood (from 1 to 3 years);
• During pregnancy (only in the third trimester of pregnancy!);
• During the lactation period in nursing mothers (usually in late winter and spring);
• In children and adolescents who do not spend enough time in the sun;
• In older people;
• If there is poor insolation in the area where you live;
• For intense skin pigmentation;
• For severe diseases (tuberculosis, leprosy, etc.);
• In patients receiving anticonvulsants (barbiturates, phenytoin, primidone);
• In patients receiving long-term corticosteroid therapy (Prednisolone, Hydrocortisone);
• For diseases of the digestive system (malabsorption syndrome, cystic fibrosis);
• In case of liver failure;
